A barrel ferment that spends around 9 months ageing before bottling. Toasty patisserie notes up top combine with baking spice and vanilla. The palate is remarkably fresh thanks to the lively Arinto, a beautiful wine that paris perfectly with roast pork, or leaner cuts of beef- think fillet or rump!Outside of its natural beauty and cultural heritage, Quinta de Covelas location is important to note. Situated on the right bank of the Douro River, the estate straddles the Douro Valley Region to the east, and Vinho Verde to the west. Covela enjoys a maritime/continental microclimate with higher rainfall than the Douro Valley.
