The 2016 Le Mission Haut Brion is a blend of 57.5% Merlot and 42.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, picked between September 19 and October 14, one of the longest harvest ever. "We had to be patient and wait on every parcel," said Jean-Philippe Delmas. The wine is deep garnet-purple in color and unfolds in the glass with tones of black currants, black cherries, dark chocolate, violets, tobacco leaf, forest floor and a hint of bergamot
