The Gran Coronas is made from two grape varieties. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. In the late 60s and early 70s, Miguel A. Torres cultivated the French grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon in Penedès. Today, this wine is considered the hallmark of red Reserva wines. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 7-8 days. The temperature of 28-29°C is constantly controlled. Tasting notes:Brick red in the glass. On the nose notes of cloves and herbs. Fruity and spicy on the palate. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo. Serving temperature: 15-18°C. The wine is excellent with sausage and ham, braised eggplant or tender lamb and beef.
