With its Pannonian climate, endless plains and numerous lakes, Seewinkel is one of the world's outstanding wine-growing regions, with 2000 hours of sunshine a year. Especially here, the Austrian Zweigelt grape matures into a massive, plump wine with enormous potential. Tasting notes:Intense dark ruby with black core and violet reflections in the glass. On the nose of cherry compote, sour cherries, blueberries, tobacco, orange zest and toasted aromas. On the palate very dense and fruity of cherries, wild berry jam, plums, toasted aromas, coconut with finely integrated tannins. Long lasting with hints of coconut on the finish. Grape variety: 100% Zweigelt. Soil: Loamy sand with high gravel content. Aging: 12 months in oak barrels. Residual sugar: 4,4 g/l. Acidity: 4,1 g/l. Bottling: March 2021. Drinking temperature: 16-18 °C. Storage potential: Until 2030. This wine is excellent with calf's liver and white meat with dark sauces.
