Ron Caney is still produced today in the original distillery, which was founded in the middle of the 19th century, in Santiago de Cuba. By the way, the name "Caney" comes from the Indian and means hut. The state-monitored production and storage guarantees the state of Cuba with its authenticity banderole on each bottle. Molasses, which is won from Zukerrohr, is used as Grudlage for the rum.
