The warm Atlantic current provides Cork with the perfect temperate, oceanic microclimate for the maturation of Irish HYDE whisky casks. The region has one of the mildest and most temperate climates in Western Europe. Never too hot - never too cold - just right for maturing delicious Irish whisky! For the Hyde No. 6, an eight-year-old, triple-distilled Irish Single Grain and an 18-year-old, triple-distilled Irish Single Malt are blended. The marriage takes place in ex-Oloroso Sherry barrels; the President's Reserve is bottled without colorants and without cold filtration.
