The brand Don Q takes its name from the worldwide known novella "Don Quixote" by the author Miguel Cervantes. The Serralles family produces the rum according to old family tradition. The sugar cane of their own plantations is used for the production. The Don Q Reserva 7 Añejo Años Puerto Rican Rum is a blend of different rums that mature for at least 7 years in American white oak barrels. Tasting notes:Color: Bright amber. Nose: Fruity, notes of vanilla, yellow fruit, wood, caramelized sugar. Taste: Full-bodied, rich, notes of vanilla, wood, caramel. Finish: Long lasting. Preferred "on the rocks" or drunk neat.
