Full-bodied, complex and so very different in its nature from well-known representatives of the country such as Cacique or Ocumare, who prefer to please with lightness, Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva presents itself to the discerning connoisseur.
Distilled in copper pot stills made of molasses, Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva matures for at least 12 years in selected ex-bourbon barrels.
With these bottlings, the producer orientates himself towards the old Venezuelan style with heavy and warm tones, which in recent years has given way to a rather light and pleasing rum style of the country.
Through the long maturation process, it achieves an incredibly intense body of extraordinary balance, completed by traditional experience and craftsmanship. A truly royal rum!
