The Serralles family produces rum according to old family tradition. The sugar cane from their own plantations is used for the production. Caliche Rum is produced with the Solera process. Molasses from the Caribbean is used for the production. After a short fermentation a clean, clear rum is distilled. The 5-fold distillation is decisive for the purity and its balance.Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Taste: Balanced, clean, vanilla, hints of oak, notes of caramel. Finish: Long lasting. This rum tastes especially good with a splash of lime. But it is also used for various mixed drinks or cocktails.
