The Benromach whiskey distillery is located in the town of Forres in Scotland and was founded in 1898. This was shut down and reopened a few times - but since 1998, the distillery shines again in new splendor. The Benromach Cara Gold Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is 11 years old and is distilled from the Cara Gold barley. This is largely used for beer production and is responsible for fruity, as well as sweet taste. The whiskey matures in first-fill bourbon barrels.
