The grapes were handpicked in March from two vineyards located near Tunuyan in the Uco Valley. Unlike in other years the winemaker has aged all the wine in oak barrels for 9 months and then bottled it and allowed to age further.

A vivid violet colour with aromas of red fruits, tobacco and chocolate. Medium bodied, smooth with excellent structure and fresh plums on the finish. This wine will go really well with whatever meal you planning for Dad, anything from beef, turkey, and venison, to salmon, mushrooms, and roasted vegetables. It will also sit nicely alongside some strong cheese.
