J Vineyards bright and appealing Russian River Valley Chardonnay showcases the best of this classic cool-climate region. Aromas of citrus and orange blossom open with every swirl. Smooth and beautifully balanced, notes of yellow apple, meyer lemon and pear layer with suggestions of toasted macadamia and creamy almond. Hints of light toast and spice lift the fruit characteristics. The palate is rich, full and beautifully textured before finishing with a crisp and delicate flourish.

Wine Press Ratings

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast (2021 Vintage)

"Beautifully layered, creamy and rich but also balanced by toasty oak and decent acidity, this wine fascinates from the first whiff of toasted baguette to the rich palate of figs, poached pears and pastry cream and the lingering, lazy finish."

92 Points - James Suckling (2021 Vintage)

"A solid chard with sliced cooked apple, dried pear and hints of honey and vanilla. Medium-bodied with delicious fruit and a lightly chewy finish. Spicy pear, too."

About the Producer

J Vineyards winemaking philosophy begins with sourcing the best fruit at the optimal time from the best locations in the Russian River Valley and Sonoma County. Diverse soils and cool, coastal micro-climates create unique growing conditions to maximise flavour and expression. In the renowned wine growing region, J Vineyards & Winery are true stewards of the land, tending to cool-climate grape varieties that offer fruit forward flavours and a crisp natural acidity. J Vineyards winemaking team, led by Nicole Hitchcock, strives to translate the diversity of the Russian River Valley from the cool, coastal locations to the bright, sun-drenched hillsides to the bottle. Each estate vineyard offers a distinct expression of a different location within the vast Russian River Valley AVA.
