90 Points - Falstaff - Owned and managed by Champagne Louis Roederer, OTT produce some of the worlds most prestigious wines, but particularly rosé wines, made at distinctively different estates in Bandol and Côtes de Provence appellations. By. OTT is a truly Provençal wine with conviviality and friendship at its heart. Pale and pretty in crystal-clear pink with orange undertones. The nose is delicate and fruity with notes of white peach and apricot mixed with passion fruit and mango. The taste is full, fresh and crisp with echoes of the fruity aroma amplified by citrus zest and sweet spices (cinnamon and cardamom). By.Ott is a beautiful and elegant extension to the Domaines Ott range, and a truly Provençal wine with conviviality and friendship at its heart.

90 Points - Falstaff

"The nose is as shy as the wine is pale. All about this is subtle: tender red fruit, tender lemon freshness all bedded in a most subtle structure. This just is lightness bottled - a barely-there wine as light and bright as a summer breeze, yet there is zesty length."

About the Producer

Château de Selle was the first estate acquired by Marcel Ott in 1912. It is in Taradeau, near Draguignan, on soil where only olive, lavender and mulberry trees used to grow. Not far from Thoronet Abbey, close to a former 18th century residence of the Counts of Provence, the soil is gypsum, red clay, dolomite and sandstone mixed with gravel and stone, today producing highly distinguished and elegant wines. Perched on high limestone inland slopes where it is sheltered from winter frosts, the estate enjoys a microclimate of mild winters, early springs and warm and dry summers, always with a great deal of sunshine.

Taste

The taste is full, fresh and crisp with echoes of the fruity aroma amplified by citrus zest and sweet spices (cinnamon and cardamom). All of the great Domaines Ott* tradition in a friendly and elegant wine.
