Taste
Intense ruby-red colour with violet hues. On the nose, red-berry aromas combined with the aromas it has developed through traditional ageing in our cellar. Red-berry fruit, liquorice, blackcurrants and spices. On the palate it is full-bodied and silky smooth, with a varietal flavour and a long, lingering aftertaste of fresh fruit.
The Solarce Tinto is a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Mazuelo, Graciano and other varieties. The wine is aged for 8 months in American and French oak barrels.
About the Producer
Casa la Rad is a family-owned estate in the northern foothills of the Iberian Massif (Valle de Ocón).
The winery's focus is to seek a balance between their activity and the local environment so as to sustain or improve its vitality and biodiversity.
These are situated on the highest part in the middle of the estate, at an altitude of between 600 and 750 metres. This allows them to consistently produce high quality wines using the full benefits of the altitude and the richest of their terroir.
