Charles Turner and Dickie Williams set up their own fruit growing business Penrhos Fruit in 2012 growing cherries, apples, strawberries and blueberries. A chance conversation between themselves some years later led them to investigate the possibility of turning the produce from their orchards into a product that bore their name. After much debate gin seemed the perfect match and Penrhos Spirits was founded. A 250 year old cow shed was converted and a glorious copper still was purchased. With three products to date, a London Dry, Rhubarb and Apple and Elderflower the future is exciting.
