They use a traditional slow distillation method, carefully filtered water and just the right balance of botanicals to create a distinctive gin that they are proud to call our own.
On the morning of 2nd April 2019, everything changed. A fire started inside their distillery and caused the entire building to go up in flames, destroying everything. It goes without saying that without the incredible response from the fire department and the support they have received from their staff, community and their industry colleagues, they would not be in the fortunate position they are in today.
Since their fire at the distillery, unfortunately our beloved stills, Steve & Leftie, have had to retire. Their distillers have been working away using hired facilities, making their Gin the same traditional way. The Masons story was built on doing things properly gin made with love and care. It was important to them that this continued after the fire and we have been lucky enough to keep making their much-loved gin with that same love, care and passion. Gin as it should be.
