Bottled to celebrate Ardbeg Day 2021- Ardbeg Scorch was matured in ex-Bourbon casks charred by the fiery exhale of Dunnage Warehouse 3s definitely real and not at all made up FLAVOUR BREATHING DRAGON. Intense aromas of soot and smoke lie in wait- while grilled fare and black liquorice mingle with bold notes of antiseptic lozenge. This limited edition single malt whisky is truly a dram of fantastical proportions.

Nose: Nutty- spicy- intense with hints of aniseed and patchouli. Smoky- herbal notes- and an impression of oily smoke. With a splash of water more of the classic Ardbeg fennel/herbal/pine top notes.

Palate: Oily & spicy mouthfeel with a burst of antiseptic lozenges- tar- liquorice- clove & pepper. This is then followed by some sweet smoke like briar or sandalwood.

Finish: A long- but subtle- sooty- tarry aftertaste.
