The dark color of this sherry is   almost opaque and possesses aromas of figs and almonds and ripe fruit. In addition to a nice glass of sherry as an aperitif, this is also a very nice desert wine and goes great with old and hard cheeses. Absolute recommendation and surprising with a nice dish to serve as desert wine.
