The Clynelish 14 Year is one of the few single malts whiskey bottled by the distillery. Generally, this whiskey is used in the blends of the Johny Walker Gold Label.

This Clynelish 14 Year is somewhat quirky malt, however, the complexity and length of this whiskey is certainly worthy of merit. The taste of this distillery is by the sea. Saltyness and seaweed emerge and the peat that is beautifully incorporated in this whiskey does not immediately suggest that it comes from the Highlands!

Color: straw Nose: A deep, well-balanced and complex whiskey with notes of malt, orange blossom, pear, slightly smoky, slightly peaty, salty Taste: A spicy warm whiskey with notes of ash, medicinal, brine, seaweed, mustard and peat Finish : A medium long and warm finish with notes of vanilla, honey, ash, smoke, tea, spices, oak and a slightly soapy tone.

With the addition of a few drops of water, this Clynelish 14 Y opens even better. Nose and taste emerge even warmer.
