One of the best representatives of the Spanish sparkling wine, the Cava. Made in Sant Sadurní by an authentic family winery with only a focus on quality. This cava is made from the Catalan trilogy namely Xarello, Macabeo and Parellada with a small percentage of the Chardonnay, which thereby further improves the elegance. Made on the basis of the traditional Champenoise method, the wine is stored in the bottle for 36 to 48 months so that the fine mousse can develop. A minute dosage (3 to 10 grams of sugar, depending on the year) is added after the disgorgement, so that the Cava remains wonderfully fresh and dry.
Straw yellow in color. Fine mousse. Freshly appley in smell and taste. Light notes of ripe fruit, due to bottle ripening, mild acidity, somewhat nasty and a pleasant mouthfeel. Great taste and healthy dry on the finish.
This this a sparkling top Cava that in terms of quality and price leaves many significantly more expensive Champagnes behind. Absolute top quality as you might expect from the house of Gramona
Fact: The champagne-like packaging may not be changed by grandfather Gramona! Recognition factor of the bodega!
