The topper among the Moscatos. Delicious aperitif and a delicious mid-wine white gold in color. Frivolous, light, elegant, with a fantastic pure nutmeg aroma and a long finish! Discreetly sweet with a fine carbonated mousse; delightful, soft freshness and sweetness is so delicate that it also contributes to the invigorating effect. The Biancospini is always the first Moscato to release Spinetta.
The La Spinette Moscato d'Asti is situated on a high-lying vineyard (300 meters) on very clinky sandy soils with a south-facing location. The must of the perfectly ripe and very aromatic Moscato grapes (Muscat) stays in a closed pressure tank for a month at a temperature of 15 degrees. The alcoholic fermentation stops naturally while retaining residual sugar.
The wine has a white gold color with a fine carbonic sparkle and, thanks to the very low alcohol percentage (4.5%), is almost innocent and can be used at any time of the day. The La Spinette Moscato D'Asti is among the top among the moscatos and is exceptionally fresh with optimally ripened fruit. In the nose you can smell spring with rose leaf and optimally ripe pear and peach fruit. On the palate the wine is subtly sweet and extremely well-balanced and certainly not with excessive and predominant carbonated mousse. Unprecedentedly tempting. The sweetness is certainly present, but in such a delicate way that it is both refreshing and invigorating as well as gastronomically justified. Culinary great to serve in between courses and of course great with fine pastries, fruit and ice cream.
