Probably the most famous rosé winery internationally. The domain covers 53 hectares of which only 40 are planted with vineyards. The property is ideally located on a slate terrace that plunges into the Mediterranean near Brégançon. The domain dates from the 18th century and has been owned by the Ott family since 1936. The soil is very old and characterized by a combination of slate and clay.
BY.OTT is a new wine that comes from the new cellars of Château de Selle. Ott BY Ott wine takes full advantage of the winemaking and winemaking expertise of Domaines Ott. BY.OTT Rouge is an elegant extension of the Domaines Ott * program and a genuine Provencal wine with a focus on conviviality and friendship.
In the glass the Ott By Ott Rouge garnet red is brightened up with purple hues. The bouquet reveals aromatic red summer fruits dominated by cherry, immediately followed by aromas of red currants. The silky palate is elegant and reveals the fruit-driven freshness and green peppercorns with a subtle licorice edge in the aftertaste. The whole rests on a light tannic structure that creates a feeling of velvety softness. A beautiful red Provencal wine.
