Spread over an area of 29 hectares, the Enclos estate cultivates certified organic vines. These are spread over 4 levels of Chablis denomination and, in particular, in some of the vineyard's most beautiful terroirs. Romain and Damien Bouchard manage the estate of their ancestors. They use their experience to make wines with simple, respectful and unadorned practices.

This 1er (premier) cru comes from 3 adjacent west-facing plots, planted in the 1960s, 80s and 90s in the heart of the historic Fourchaume hill in the town of La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne.

The Chablis 1er Cru La Fourchaume is sleek, fresh and dusty with notes of citrus oil, iodine, yellow apple and pear. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, glossy with a creamy and luscious attack that brings good concentration and depth. The wine ends with a salty pebbly finish.
