The Bogle family has been active in agriculture for over 100 years. Since the late 1960s, grapes have also been grown in the California wine region of Clarksburg and later Lodi. Bogle is certified by several agencies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the Sacramento Area Sustainable Business Certificate.

The Bogle Phantom Red is the red top model from Bogle Vineyards. The wine is a blend of 52% Petite Sirah
48% Zinfandel aged for 25 months in 2 to 3 year old American oak barrels. On the nose aromas of baked cherries, leather and ripe cranberries framed with nutmeg peppercorns, anise and juniper coming from the Petite Sirah and Zinfandel varieties. Don't be fooled by the seductive nose. On the first sip, the Phantom is generous and mouth-filling with dark fruit and ample tannins. Although the Phantom is perfect today, this wine can also age for another 10 years.
