The slopes of Cumières and Hautvillers are part of the "Coteaux Historiques", classified in 2015 by UNESCO, in the Remarkable Sites category.
The territory of Cumières is relatively small, ie 300 hectares; it is covered in 85% of vines that borders to the North, the forest. In the South, the river Marne limits the village.
The vinification is done, partly in oak barrels. Its discreet woody makes it an elegant and refined Champagne.
Chardonnay gives its liveliness and freshness.
