Owned by May de Lencquesaing, former owner of Bordeaux Château Pichon-Lalande, Glenelly offers a Bordeaux-inspired structure with fine New World richness.

Winemaking at Glenelly, situated in Idas Valley, Stellenbosch is considered an art form and 2009 saw the inauguration, on this 128ha estate, of a winery which is a stellar example of modern methods, design and environmental awareness.

The Glass Collection Merlot is a deep, rich coloured wine. It displays intense dark fruit aromas and spicy plums, reminiscent of Black Forest gateaux. This Merlot shows tremendous concentration, richness and generous fruit on the palate with fine but well balanced tannins to embrace it all.
