An intense and lively characteristic on the nose revealing white flowers and petrol traditional from Riesling. Full bodied wine with intensity, depth and beautiful mineral expression. A rich, ripe and full-bodied expression underlined with an elegant acidity uplift on the finish. Only 350 cases produced.Delicious with fish, poultry and veal and sea scallops. Traditionally served in Alsace with goose and pork and with Alsacian meats.The Geisberg Grand Cru is a jewel of Alsace. Located in between two other Grands Crus on Ribeauvillés fault line, the limestone and sandstone subsoil, the old vines, the exposure to the sun and the small steep terrasses make it a very unique and complex terroir of only 210 acres total. By law, yields are limited to 55 hl/ha maximum. This wine is bottle-aged for five years in the cellar before being released.
