Mollydooker always do things in left field manner, and this wine is no exception. Girl on the go was named after Sarah Marquis as a teen; full of life and always on the go! Using the more unusual grape variety Verdelho it has crisp floral tones with tropical fruit highlights. The palate is delightful with layer upon layer on citrus notes combined with pinepapple, hints of spice and creamy vanilla. Unique and intriguing wine. The grapes were machine harvested at night to preserve freshness, and at ideal flavour ripeness. After transportation to the winery they were crushed and destemmed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with a third fermented and matured in hogshead barrels, of which 67% was new American oak and 33% new French oak.
