An unusual combination of Gros Manseng and Chardonnay that just works. Grown in the Cotes de Gascogne region where the conditions are perfect for growing aromatic fresh white wines. These two grapes varieties both brings something to the table with the Gros Manseng bringing fragrant and spicy characters whilst the 30% chardonnay fleshes out the mid palate with freshness. The nose has orange blossom, elderflower and tropical fruits. Fresh and balanced on the palate, citrus lime combines with fleshy melon. The finish is slightly savoury and tangy. Works well with smoked fish, Asian cuisine and salads.
