Awarded Gold at the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition 2016, The Source Gin is forged by the four seasons that blow through the Cardrona Valley, Southern Alps, New Zealand. A natural matrix of locally foraged rosehip, together with traditional juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, lemon and orange zest, vapour-distilled into our Single Malt Spirit. Because The Source is non-chill-filtered, you will notice the spirit clouds with dilution or when cold a mark of distinction for this very rare and special drop. Seasonal rosehip first brought to Cardrona Valley by the Chinese imparts the character and history of Cardrona. Both copper pot and column distillation for a unique and rare New Zealand Gin.
The Distillery has designed its craft process around the deep single malt traditions, starting from scratch with malted barley to create a genuine artisan premium spirit, a rarity in the spirits industry.
Every aspect of Cardronas products is of the highest quality, from the pure Cardrona Valley alpine water, the rich malted barley and the foraged ingredients to the hand picked oak casks from Spain and America.
