L. Larmat based in Paris were publishers of the definitive range of wine folios for the Wine Regions of France between 1939 - 1949. These folios entitled "Atlas De La France Vinicole" contain information relating to each wine region along with beautiful fold-out maps in coloured topographical format with a late Art Deco styalisation and font. Originals are sought after by book collectors, with complete folios selling for $USD 700-1,000. Unlike other reproductions we have had each map electronically scanned and reproduced by renowed industry print specialists in Bristol and printed onto special conservatoire grade laminate paper, so as to capture as best we can the beauty and depth of detail of the original. Each work is wrapped in tissue paper before being dispatched for the recipient to make their own choice of frame. The Loire maps we think look good in wooden frame whilst the longest vertical maps from the Bourgogne are better suited to an anodised aluminiam frame.
