Tili "Assisi Pinot Nero DOC" Red

Grapes: Sagrantino, Pinot Nero.

Production Area: Assisi, Umbria

Harvest: 6000 litres per hectare yield.

Technique: Palmet, or fan pruning, with spring cluster thinning and organic farming methods without the use of pesticides and herbicides.  Carbonic maceration in rotary fermentation tank followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and one year ageing in stainless steel tanks.  The stainless steel ageing at controlled temperature has maintained its natural organoleptic characteristics intact and like a lovely warm spring breeze, it charms even the most demanding connoisseurs. Its rich pomegranate red colour invites one to become inebriated by the fresh bouquet that evokes wild berries.  On the palate its lively and pleasantly fruity flavour rounds out the roughness of the tannins. This is a very enticing wine for all seasons and for the entire meal.
