Makedonikos red dry wine is produced in Macedonia, North Greece, a region with a long-standing viticultural tradition. Makedonikos is produced by Tsantalis Winery from selected Xinomavro Greek grape variety and Merlot and is a Protected Geographic Indication (PGI) wine. A wine of bright ruby red color with a hint of violet and a ripe red fruit and redcurrant aromas and ABV 12% . Soft tannins offer a silky sensation. A versatile wine, which compliments dishes like spaghetti with meats and red sauces and barbecued meats with heavy sauces. Vintage 2017. Best served at 16 - 18°C.
